*note:  This site is designed for classrooms with a smartboard/interactive/projection board (to show videos to provide the students with background knowledge, teach using media, seamlessly integrate technology, using different modalities, and to learn through online academic games that will increase understanding and enhance the concepts taught throughout the lesson. Easy to use.  Just click and the videos will pop up.  Click and the online game will pop up.

There are 18 weeks of science lessons, handouts, projects, activities, and games to cover the whole science curriculum. The site includes: 

1.  lessons
2.  supply lists- 3 types- 1) Week by Week; 2) Supplies at a glance 3) Supply ordering checklist
3.  Simple science experiments with low cost supplies
    (suggestion:  get a tub and restock supplies each year)
4.  science experiments & activities
5.  science handouts
6.  3 Page List of formative and summative assessments included.  Makes planning easier.
7.  Video playlist of educational videos used for instruction/most are under 4 minutes

*Most weeks the anticipatory set includes short videos.  Many of them are on youtube, so if you have youtube blocked at your school, you might need to talk to your technology person.  They can unblock the playlist.  Send them the Playlist link and they should be able to unblock all of them.
* Students need access to computers for online games or activities that go with the lessons.  
* If you teach with other kindergarten teachers, use the week by week supply list to put together your science tubs.  Determine who is doing which week, then gather supplies for just your weeks.
